Two years ago, Experior Labs expanded its vibration capability for heavy payload testing with the introduction of a Team T-Film bearing table on one of our three high-force Unholtz Dickie T4000 shaker systems.

Today, Experior Labs is excited to announce the introduction of two new custom slip tables, which will equip all three T4000 shakers with T-Film bearing technology and are housed in our 11,000sft vibration high bay with a ceiling height of 33ft and offering ISO7 and ISO8 cleanroom capability.

These new tables build on the success of the first, and were developed in close collaboration with Data Physics and Team Corporation, members of parent Noise and Vibration Technologies (NVT) Group. The new tables, developed locally at the Data Physics Riverside, CA plant, each contain a continuous 5-by-5 grid of hydrostatic T-Film bearings from Team Corporation. Each element is individually supported with pressurized fluid – this both unlocks capability to test heavier payloads and removes the need for precise calibration and frequency inspection of granite oil gaps.

The 25 T-Film bearings work to provide as much as 7 million in-lbf of moment restraint. Custom-machined aluminum skids allow for quick alignment with the floor grid and fastening to the isolated concrete reaction base to take full advantage of the moment capability. Similar to the previous granite tables, these new high-capacity tables are designed for either independent use or alignment for dual-shaker testing.
