Astro Digital completes Thermal Vacuum and Direct Field Acoustic Noise Test Campaign on Deployable Solar Array.

Experior Laboratories recently completed multiple test campaigns of the Astro Digital deployable solar array. The first test campaign included thermal vacuum testing of the solar array while being deployed. The second test was a Direct Field Acoustic Noise test that exposes the test article and it’s components to an ultra-high acoustic field. These test simulate the environment that the solar array would be experience during launch and space deployment.
